A MiG-27 warrior airplane of the Indian Air Force (IAF) slammed in an open zone Deolia Kalan town in Jodhpur on Tuesday morning. The pilot of the airplane figured out how to launch securely before the crash.
"The airship was on a standard preparing mission. The pilot has shot out securely," an IAF official said.
The Russian MiG-27 airship is being eliminated from benefit.
A Court of Inquiry (CoI) has been requested to examine the reason for the mishap.
