KOLKATA: A 100-year-elderly person was mercilessly assaulted supposedly by a 20-year-old youth amidst the night in West Bengal's Nadia locale, the police said today.
"The episode occurred on Monday night. Argha Biswas assumed name Abhijit was gotten by the relatives of the elderly person. A dissension was recorded yesterday," an officer of the Chakdah police headquarters said.
The guilty party from the Gangaprasadpur territory has been captured and exhibited under the watchful eye of the court.
